Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q: What kinds of car photography do you do?
A: I cover all sorts of automotive photography – commercial shoots, magazine features, car events, personal car photoshoots, and dealership photos. If it’s got wheels, I’m on it!

Q: Where do you operate?
A: I’m based in Stamford, CT, but I love to travel! I can come to you wherever you are, though travel fees might apply if it’s a bit far.

Booking and Scheduling

Q: How do I book a photoshoot?
A: Just drop me a message through my contact form or email (aaron@aklemphotos.com). It’s best to book 1-2 weeks in advance to make sure I can fit you in.

Q: When are you available?
A: The schedule can get busy, so feel free to reach out about my current availability.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: Yep, I require a 30% deposit to lock in your booking. The rest is due on the day of the shoot.

Preparation and Photoshoot

Q: How should I get my car ready for the shoot?
A: Make sure your car is clean and detailed – it’ll make a big difference in the photos. Remove any personal items from inside and check for any touch-ups it might need.

Q: What if the weather’s bad on shoot day?
A: Weather can be tricky, but I can handle most conditions. If it’s really bad or unsafe, we’ll reschedule for the next available day that works for you.

Q: How long does a photoshoot usually take?
A: It depends on the project, but a standard car shoot usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour without rolling shots.

Pricing and Payment

Q: How much do you charge for car photography?
A: My rates depend on what you need. Shoot me a message with the details, and I’ll give you a custom quote.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: I take credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. I’ll give you all the payment info when you book.

Q: Do you offer packages or discounts?
A: Yes! I’ve got various packages with some sweet deals, especially for repeat clients or referrals. Get in touch to learn more.
